To charge the SIP INDUSTRIAL 03937 3000 12 Rescue Pac, follow these steps:
1. Connect the supplied mains charger to a 230V 50Hz ~ supply.
2. Connect the DC output of the charger to the charging input on the front of the Rescue Pac 3000.
3. Turn on the power at the mains.
4. Turn the Rescue Pac on, using the 12v position only.
5. An alarm will sound if it is not switched on.
6. The red battery power level indicator will illuminate to show that the Rescue Pac is being charged.
7. When the indicator turns green, it means that the Rescue Pac is fully charged.
Note: The internal battery of the Rescue Pac 3000 should be charged before initial operation for 48 hours. It should also be recharged after each operation. When not in use for extended periods, the Rescue Pac should be charged every 1 month to ensure long trouble-free battery life.
