To determine the appropriate mounting method for your TMI POLAR-PRO Swinging Doors, you need to measure the thickness of your door jamb. Stand inside the cooler or freezer and measure from the back of the closed door to the inside wall surface.
- If the measurement is taken on the inside wall surface, you should use the Inside Surface Mounting method.
- If the measurement is taken on the inside of the doorway opening using both door jambs, you should use the In-Jamb Mounting method.
- If the measurement is taken on the inside of the doorway opening, but the mounting is done on the inside wall surface, you should use the Wall/In-Jamb Mounting method.
It is important to ensure that the door jamb is strong enough to support the weight and force of the door. If you are unsure, it is recommended to check with the cooler/freezer manufacturer for guidance.
