To determine which mounting method to use for the TMI POLAR PRO 48" x 78" Swinging Doors, you need to measure the thickness of your door jamb. While standing inside the cooler or freezer, measure from the back of the closed door to the inside wall surface.
- If the measurement is to the inside wall surface, you will use the INSIDE SURFACE MOUNT method. This means that the two door panels will be attached to the inside wall surface. Refer to page 3 of the instruction manual for mounting instructions.
- If the measurement is to the inside of the doorway opening using both door jambs, you will use the IN-JAMB MOUNT method. This means that the two door panels will be attached to the inside of the doorway opening using both door jambs. Refer to page 4 of the instruction manual for mounting instructions.
- If the measurement is to the inside of the doorway opening, but you will use the inside wall surface for mounting, you will use the WALL/IN-JAMB MOUNT method. This means that the two door panels will be placed on the inside of the doorway opening, but use the inside wall surface for mounting. Refer to page 5 of the instruction manual for mounting instructions.
It is important to choose the correct mounting method based on your door jamb thickness to ensure proper installation and functionality of the swinging doors.
