To determine which mounting method to use for the TMI POLAR PRO swinging doors, you need to measure the thickness of your door jamb. While standing inside the cooler or freezer, measure from the back of the closed door to the inside wall surface. If the measurement is to the inside wall surface, you will use the Inside Surface Mount method. If the measurement is to the inside of the doorway opening using both door jambs, you will use the In-Jamb Mount method. If the measurement is to the inside of the doorway opening, but you will use the inside wall surface for mounting, you will use the Wall/In-Jamb Mount method.
