To clean your dentures using the iSonic F3900 Retainer Cleaner Ultrasonic Denture, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Fill the tank: Remove the plastic tray from the tank and fill it with tap water or a cleaning solution recommended for dentures. Ensure that the liquid level is between 1" and the MAX fill line marked inside the tank.
2. Add cleaning solution: If desired, add a denture cleaning tablet, such as iSonic® AlignerClean™ tablet #CTAR01 or iSonic®White™ crystal #CSDW01, to the water. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended amount.
3. Place dentures in the tank: Submerge your dentures in the tank, ensuring that the areas to be cleaned are fully immersed in the liquid.
4. Start the cleaning cycle: Touch the Start/Stop key twice to start the cleaning cycle. The unit will run for 5 minutes and then automatically stop. For daily cleaning and disinfection, one cycle is usually sufficient. However, if your dentures have heavy stains or buildup, you may need to run multiple cycles.
5. Rinse the dentures: After the cleaning cycle is complete, remove the dentures from the tank and rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove any residual cleaning solution.
6. Empty and clean the tank: Pour out the water or cleaning solution from the tank quickly to prevent water from dripping over the housing. Pour the water out from the front of the unit, not the backside. Use a cup to add water and rinse the tank. Wipe it clean.
7. Unplug the power cord: Once you have finished cleaning and rinsing your dentures, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
