To properly set up the Bestway 56403 Steel Pro Splash Frame Pool, follow these steps:
1. Choose the correct location: The pool must be set up on a completely flat and level surface. Clear the area of any objects and debris. Position the pool away from objects that children could use to climb into the pool. Avoid areas with aggressive plant and weed species. Check with your local city council for any fencing, barriers, lighting, and safety requirements.
2. Assembly: Before assembling the pool, check all the parts and become familiar with their position. Some parts may already be installed on the pool. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual for assembling the pool structure, including the frame and liner.
3. Pool Maintenance: It is important to adhere to the maintenance guidelines to ensure clean and healthy water. Use chemical tablets or liquid (not included) following the instructions provided. Regularly test the water chemistry using a test kit (not included) and maintain the water according to the recommended parameters listed in the manual. Skim the pool regularly, wash the filter cartridge, and cover the pool when not in use.
4. Repair: In the event of a leak, use the underwater adhesive repair patch provided to patch the pool. Refer to the FAQs on the support section of the Bestway website for instructions on patching.
5. Dismantling: To dismantle the pool, unscrew the drain valve cap and connect a hose to drain the water. Control the water flow using the control ring on the hose adaptor. Once draining is finished, disconnect the hose, xxxx the cap back onto the drain valve, and air dry the pool.
6. Storage and Winterization: Remove all accessories and spare parts, clean and dry them, and store them in a dry place with a moderate temperature. Sprinkle talcum powder on the pool liner before folding it to prevent sticking. Store the pool and accessories in a dry location during the off-season.
