To adjust the thickness of slices on the Cuisinart Mandoline, follow these steps:
1. Locate the control xxxx on the mandoline. It is a rotary dial located on the side of the unit.
2. Press the outer ring of the control dial inward to unlock it.
3. Rotate the control xxxx to select the desired thickness of the slices. The xxxx has slice thickness measurement markings, ranging from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch.
4. You will feel the control xxxx click into each thickness-setting position as you rotate it.
5. Once you have selected the desired thickness, the mandoline is ready to use for slicing at that thickness.
Note: It is important to use caution when adjusting the control xxxx and handling the mandoline blades, as they are extremely sharp. Always use the safety food holder to guide the food properly onto the cutting blade and prevent injuries.
