To descale the INVENTUM HW817D Cordless Electric Kettle, you can use a suitable descaling agent for water cookers/coffee machines or lemon juice. Here's how to do it:
1. Fill half of the kettle with hot water.
2. Add the recommended amount of descaling agent for water cookers/coffee machines or the juice of half a lemon.
3. Boil the water and allow it to cool down for 30 minutes.
4. Discard the boiled water and rinse the kettle thoroughly.
5. Never clean the kettle with cleaning agents as they could damage it.
If you need to clean the anti-scale filter, make sure the kettle is cool and empty before removing it. Pull the filter loose towards the rear, away from the spout, and clean it with hot water. When placing it back, ensure it is properly attached to the spout.
Remember to always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool down before cleaning or descaling.
