To connect and set up the BZB GEAR BG-EXUF USB3.1-2.0-1.1 Fiber Extender, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the Transmitter:
a. Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V port on the transmitter.
b. Connect the USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 host device to the HOST port on the transmitter.
c. Connect the optical cable from the Optical OUT port on the transmitter to the Optical IN port on the receiver.
2. Connect the Receiver:
a. Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V port on the receiver.
b. Connect the USB devices to the USB 3.0 type-A female connectors on the receiver.
c. Connect the optical cable from the Optical IN port on the receiver to the Optical OUT port on the transmitter.
3. Power on the Transmitter and Receiver:
a. Ensure that both the transmitter and receiver are connected to power using the provided power adapters.
b. The Power LED on both the transmitter and receiver should illuminate when connected to power.
4. Check the Connection Status:
a. The LINK LED on both the transmitter and receiver should illuminate when they have a good connection status.
5. Optional: Resetting the Receiver:
a. If needed, press and hold the RESET button on the receiver for 3 seconds to restore factory defaults.
