To preheat the Emerald M-AIR-1981 Air Fryer Toaster Oven, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the oven and turn it on by touching the POWER ON/OFF icon.
2. Select the desired cooking program by continuously touching the menu icon until the desired program is selected.
3. Adjust the temperature and time as desired by touching the plus or minus icons.
4. Once the desired temperature and time are set, touch the "PREHEAT" icon.
5. The oven will start preheating. When the internal temperature reaches 300°F, the display will show "Add Food" to indicate that it is ready for cooking.
Note: The preheat function is not required for all cooking programs, such as Toast, Dehydrate, Proof, Defrost, Reheat, and Warm. For these programs, you can skip the preheating step and directly start cooking.
