To install the HOMEDEPOT WLWES290109EAA Smart Top Load Washer, follow these steps:
1. Unpacking and Removing Shipping Material: Remove the packing box and any foam base cushion. Open the door of the washer and take out all accessories, including the protection foam.
2. Flooring: Place the washer on a solidly constructed floor. Wood floors may need to be reinforced to minimize vibration and unbalanced load situations.
3. Drain Pipe Usage: Connect the drain hose by inserting the end into the hook shelf and hanging it over a drain outlet. Make sure the highest point of the drain hose is between 0 inches and 47.24 inches above the floor level for normal operation.
4. Installation of the Water Inlet: Connect one side of the inlet hose to the COLD water inlet valve on the washing machine. Use the quick adaptor for quick connection to a tap faucet. Follow the instructions in the manual to connect the adaptor to the faucet securely.
5. Precautions: Make sure to read and follow all precautions mentioned in the manual before using the washer.
