Cleaning the Zojirushi NS-LGC05XB Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer is easy. Here are the steps to clean the rice cooker:
1. Unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the inner cooking pan and wash it with warm soapy water. You can use a soft sponge or cloth to clean the pan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers as they may damage the non-stick coating.
3. Rinse the inner cooking pan thoroughly and dry it before placing it back into the rice cooker.
4. Remove the detachable inner lid and wash it with warm soapy water. You can use a soft sponge or cloth to clean the lid. Make sure to remove any food particles or residue.
5. Rinse the inner lid thoroughly and dry it before attaching it back to the rice cooker.
6. Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the stainless steel surface.
7. Clean the steam vent cap by removing it and washing it with warm soapy water. Rinse it thoroughly and dry it before placing it back onto the rice cooker.
8. Store the rice cooker in a clean and dry place when not in use.
