To install the invue LL301 Live Cam Lock, please follow these steps:
1. Optional: If you have an Installer Key, use it to unlock the lock for ease of installation. If the lock has battery tabs in place, using the Installer Key will pause the lock in an unlocked state.
2. Determine the lock mounting orientation.
3. Optional Security xxxx Installation: If desired for additional stability, you can use an M4 xxxx to further secure the lock to the drawer. Measure 4 1/8 inches (104.77mm) from the center of the hole and make a mark in line with the hole.
4. Drill a hole in the drawer face using a 3/16 inch (or 5mm) drill bit.
5. Once the lock body is installed onto the drawer, insert and tighten the M4 xxxx into the xxxx hole at the bottom of the lock body.
6. Use the provided alcohol wipe to clean the area where the lock body will be mounted. Allow it to dry completely.
7. Place the shaft adapter over the shaft on the lock body, ensuring it is correctly oriented to fit into the hole in the fixture.
8. Insert and tighten the 2 small screws to secure the shaft adapter.
9. Peel the clear liners from the 2 adhesives on the lock body.
10. Insert the shaft through the hole in the drawer and press the lock body against the surface for at least 10 seconds. If using the optional security xxxx , insert and tighten the M4 xxxx through the drilled hole.
11. Place the lock washer over the shaft and thread the nut onto the shaft.
12. Use a wrench to tighten the nut and bend the prongs on the lock washer over the nut to prevent it from loosening.
13. Place the cam arm interface adapter onto the shaft to determine the direction of the handle turn. Flip the adapter over to toggle between left and right-hand rotation to open.
14. Place the original hardware back onto the shaft, including the washer and the supplied nut. Use a wrench to fully tighten.
15. Pull the battery tabs.
16. Open the InVue LIVE Access app and enter your login credentials. If prompted, select the site where the lock has been installed.
17. Tap the lock xxxx with the NFC antenna of the device being used. The lock will unlock and relock within 4 seconds.
18. Click on the "Update Device Settings" link in the app to modify the Device Name, Description, or Zone to complete the enrollment. Note: You must have the "Manage Devices" permission to see and access this link.
19. Rename the device and enter an optional description if desired.
20. Assign the device to the appropriate Zone in your store or site. Note: Zones are created in the Access Manager.
21. Click "Save" once the lock description fields have been filled out.
