To install the TxBlock-USB transmitter, follow these steps:
1. Mechanical Installation:
- Install the transmitter in a suitable head mount location, away from vibrations, moisture, extreme temperatures, electromagnetic interference, and high voltage.
- Ensure that the dimensions of the transmitter are compatible with the installation space.
2. Electrical Installation:
- Use a cable with a section of 0.14 to 1.5 mm² for electrical connections.
- Apply a recommended torque of 0.8 Nm when tightening the terminal connections.
- Separate the sensor signal conductors from power leads, if possible, by using grounded conduits.
- Power the transmitter from the instrumentation power supply circuit.
- Consider using suppressors for contact coils, solenoids, and any inductive load.
3. Electrical Connections:
- Refer to the provided figures in the manual for the specific electrical connections required based on the sensor type.
- For Pt100 2-wire connection, terminals 3 and 4 must be interconnected.
- Ensure the cable length for Pt100 2-wire is less than 30 cm to maintain measurement accuracy.
- For Pt100 3-wire and 4-wire connections, ensure cable resistance compensation is equal for all legs.
- Follow the instructions for NTC, thermocouples, and voltage connections.
