To charge the FLIR LS-XR Handheld Thermal Imaging Monocular, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the monocular is turned off throughout the charging cycle.
2. The monocular battery should be fully charged prior to use.
3. Lift the cover from the USB port on the monocular.
4. Plug in the USB cable provided with the monocular into the USB port.
5. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power source, such as a computer or wall adapter.
6. The charging indicator will light up orange to indicate that the monocular is charging.
7. When the monocular is fully charged, the charging indicator will light up solid green.
8. The initial charge time is approximately 5 hours.
It is important to note that charging should only be done when the camera temperature is between 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F) to prevent battery damage.
