The Danfoss AMV 120 NL-1 Electric Drive should be mounted with the valve stem in either a horizontal position or pointing upwards. This ensures proper operation of the actuator.
For wiring the AC 24V, it is important to connect it via Class 2 (North America) or Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV) (Europe). Failure to comply with this can lead to equipment damage or personal injury.
All wiring connections should be made in accordance with local, national, or regional regulations. If conduit is required, a field supplied 1/2" trade size electrician's fitting and lock nut can be mounted in the actuator enclosure. Flexible metallic tubing or its equivalent should be used with the field supplied fitting.
To connect the wiring, insert the wiring material through the removable plug or conduit fitting and connect it to the terminal block using the applicable wiring diagram provided in the manual. Optionally, end position feedback is available on terminal 4 (stem down) and terminal 5 (stem up), both contacts are normally open.
It is important to follow these instructions to ensure proper and safe installation of the Danfoss AMV 120 NL-1 Electric Drive.
