1. Locate the designated ports on the Philips VS or VM Patient Monitor. These ports are typically labeled for barcode scanner connectivity.
2. Take the barcode scanner and plug it into one of the designated ports on the patient monitor. Ensure a secure connection is made.
3. Once the scanner is connected, power it on using the provided controls or power button. The scanner should now be ready for use.
