To install the Quoizel QFA4046PK Fandelier, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Use bulbs specified by the markings and/or labels on the fixture to prevent the risk of fire.
3. When installing or cleaning the fan, do not bend the blades or insert foreign objects between the rotating fan blades to avoid personal injury.
4. Mount the fandelier to an outlet box marked as acceptable for fan support of 22.7kg (50lbs) or less. Use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box to ensure proper support and to prevent the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
5. Before installation, check and re-tighten all set screws where necessary.
6. After making the wire connections, spread the wires apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box and the ungrounded conductor on the other side of the outlet box.
7. The fandelier is suitable for use with solid-state speed controls.
8. If using a light kit, make sure it is marked suitable for use in damp locations.
9. The weight of the fandelier is 5.7kg.
10. For your safety, read the instructions completely before beginning the installation. If you are unsure about electrical installation, consult a licensed electrician.
11. Disconnect the fandelier from the power source before replacing bulbs or cleaning. Allow sufficient time for the bulbs to cool before removing them.
