The installation instructions for the B&M 81104 Magnum Grip Pro Stick Universal Shifter are as follows:
1. Start by disconnecting the negative battery cable to ensure safety during installation.
2. Remove the existing shifter and disconnect the transmission shift linkage.
3. Install the new shifter assembly onto the transmission using the provided bolts. Make sure it is securely fastened.
4. Attach the micro-switch bracket to the shifter assembly using the provided screws.
5. Install the micro-switch onto the bracket and connect its wiring to the appropriate terminals.
6. Attach the cable bracket specific to your transmission type (Chrysler/AMC, Ford C4/C5 and C6, or GM TH and Electronic) to the shifter assembly using the provided bolts.
7. Install the selector lever specific to your transmission type onto the cable bracket.
8. Connect the shifter cable to the selector lever using the swivel and jam nut provided. Make sure it is securely attached.
9. Route the shifter cable to the transmission and attach it to the appropriate linkage point.
10. Adjust the shifter cable tension as needed to ensure proper shifting operation.
11. Install the reverse lockout lever onto the shifter assembly using the provided xxxx .
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
