To install the ELVITA CTM5712V Washing Machine, please follow these steps:
1. Check for any externally visible damage before installing the product. Do not install or use a damaged product.
2. Ensure that the machine is not installed in a bathroom, a very wet room, a room with high humidity, a room with explosive gases or caustic gases, or behind a lockable door, a sliding door, or a door with a hinge on the opposite side from the product.
3. Adequate ventilation must be provided to avoid the backflow of gases into the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.
4. Remove all packaging and transport bolts before using the product. Keep all packaging material away from children.
5. Connect the product to water and electrical supplies by a suitably qualified person in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local safety regulations.
6. Make sure to connect the power plug to an earthed three-pole socket. Check carefully to ensure that your socket is properly and reliably earthed.
7. Ensure that the power plug of the machine is accessible after installation and that the machine does not stand on the power cord.
8. When leveling the machine, tighten the lock nuts on all four feet against the housing.
9. Use the new hose sets supplied with the product. Do not reuse old hose sets.
10. If applicable, make sure the ventilation openings in the base of the product are not obstructed.
11. Do not use multiple plugs or extension cords.
12. The appliance must not have an external switching device such as a timer or be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.
13. Do not pull the plug out of the mains outlet if there is flammable gas around.
14. Never pull out the power plug with wet hands.
