1. Package Contents: Check that you have received the following items in your package: PoE Switch x 1, User Guide x 1, Power Cord x 1, and Accessories (Feet*4).
2. Hardware Description: The front panel of the switch consists of 6-Port 10/100Mbps Ethernet RJ45 Ports. The LED indicators are also located on the panel. The DIP switch, located on the left panel, allows you to switch between default mode and CCTV mode for different communication configurations.
3. LED Indicators: The switch has LED indicators for PWR (power), DATA (link and data transmission), and PoE (power over Ethernet). The LED colors and functions are as follows:
- PWR: Off indicates no power supply, light indicates the switch has power.
- DATA: Off indicates no device connected, light indicates successful link at 10/100Mbps, blink indicates data transmission.
- PoE: Off indicates no PoE powered device connected, light indicates successful power supply, blink indicates abnormal power supply.
4. Installation: Before installing the switch, ensure the following:
- Unplug the power plug before cleaning the switch.
- Do not place the switch near water or damp areas.
- Place the switch on a stable surface to prevent damage.
- Ensure proper ventilation and keep the vents free of obstruction.
- Check the operating voltage matches the labeled voltage.
- Do not open the chassis while the switch is operating or when electrical hazards are present.
5. Desktop Installation: Attach the provided cushioning rubber feet to the bottom corners of the switch for stability and vibration prevention. Allow adequate space for ventilation.
6. Wall-mounted Installation: Use two screws to fix the switch on the wall. Align the screws with the fixed holes on the switch.
7. Powering on the Switch: Connect the switch to an AC power supply. The LED indicators will respond as follows: the Power LED will light up first, followed by a momentary flash of the data LED indicators, indicating system resetting.
8. Specifications: The switch supports various standards and has specific technical specifications. Refer to the manual for detailed information on the model, network media, MAC address table, transfer mode, frame forward rate, switching capacity, dimensions, power supply, PoE ports, temperature, and humidity.
