To connect the Arkscan AS8200 Handheld Barcode Scanner to your device, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your device (laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone) is compatible with the scanner. The AS8200 is compatible with devices running Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS operating systems.
2. Connect the scanner to your device using the provided USB cable. Plug one end of the cable into the scanner's USB port and the other end into an available USB port on your device.
3. Once connected, the scanner should be recognized by your device. If necessary, install any required drivers or software provided by Arkscan.
4. Open a compatible application or software on your device that supports barcode scanning. Ensure that the application is configured to receive input from the scanner.
5. Align the scanner with the barcode you want to scan. Hold the scanner steady and ensure that the barcode is within the scanner's scanning range.
6. Press the trigger or designated scan button on the scanner to capture the barcode. The scanner will emit a beep or provide visual feedback to indicate a successful scan.
7. The scanned data will be transmitted to your device and displayed in the application or software you are using.
