To calibrate the Arkscan SF-802 Mail Postage Scale, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the scale is clean and free from any debris.
2. Place the scale on a stable and flat surface.
3. Press and hold the "Tare" button until the display shows "CAL".
4. Release the "Tare" button, and the display will show "CAL" followed by a number.
5. Place a known weight on the scale that matches the calibration weight indicated on the display.
6. Wait for the scale to stabilize and display the weight accurately.
7. Press the "Tare" button again to confirm the calibration.
8. The scale will display "PASS" if the calibration is successful.
9. Remove the calibration weight from the scale.
10. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.
Note: It is recommended to use a calibration weight that matches the maximum capacity of the scale for accurate calibration. If you do not have a calibration weight, you can contact Arkscan's technical support or customer service for assistance.
