To connect the Okidata B2540MFP Multifunction Scanner to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and the scanner is turned off.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the scanner.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the scanner.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Turn on the scanner by pressing the power button.
6. Wait for your computer to recognize the scanner. It may take a few moments for the necessary drivers to install.
