To replace the batteries in the Zyliss Easican Electric Can Opener, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the can opener is turned off by pressing the button to switch it off.
2. Locate the battery compartment, which is typically located at the bottom of the can opener.
3. Open the battery compartment by sliding or lifting the cover. Some models may have a latch or xxxx to secure the cover.
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment, taking note of their orientation. Dispose of them properly according to local regulations.
5. Insert two new AA batteries into the compartment, making sure to align them correctly according to the polarity markings inside the compartment. The positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries should match the markings.
6. Close the battery compartment cover, ensuring it is securely fastened.
7. Turn on the can opener by pressing the button, and it should be ready to use with the new batteries.
Note: It is recommended to use high-quality batteries for optimal performance. Rechargeable AA batteries can also be used as long as they meet the required specifications.
