To set up the AMCREST ASH22-W 2MP WiFi Bullet Outdoor Camera, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your camera is powered using the included power supply and open the Amcrest Smart Home app on your Android or iOS mobile device.
2. Tap on "Register" to create an account. After registering, log into the app and tap "Add Device".
3. Allow all notification and location permissions to enable the camera to connect to your mobile device.
4. Scan the QR code located on the bottom of your camera using the app. If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can manually enter the serial number by tapping "Manually enter SN".
5. Choose your setup method: Wi-Fi or Ethernet Only. Note that the camera can only connect to either Wi-Fi or Ethernet, not both.
- Wi-Fi (Recommended): This method allows you to connect the camera to your network via Wi-Fi using the camera's built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Ethernet Only: This method uses an Ethernet connection to connect the camera to your network.
6. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup process.
