To adjust the toast color on the BELLA 17626 Long Slot Toaster, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the toasting cycle, turn the browning control dial to your desired color. There are 7-position levels, with the lowest being white and the highest being puce. The bread slice can be toasted to a golden color at the position of "4".
2. Lower the toasting lever until it locks into place. The automatic centering guides will hold the bread upright for uniform side-to-side toasting.
3. The toasting lever will not lock into position unless the toaster is plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
4. Do not change the browning selection during the toasting cycle. If you wish to adjust the toast color, press any illuminated CANCEL button to stop the toasting cycle. Then, turn the browning control dial to your desired setting before starting a new toasting cycle.
5. Lower the toasting lever again and toast until the desired toast color is achieved.
Note: It is not recommended to change the browning selection during the toasting cycle as it may affect the toasting process. Press the CANCEL button first, adjust the browning control dial, and then start a new toasting cycle for the best results.
