To switch between input devices on the SpeaKa 2521199 HDMI eARC Audio Extractor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both input devices are connected to the audio extractor. One device should be connected to the HDMI IN port, and the other device should be connected to the OUT 1 port.
2. Make sure that the audio extractor is powered on by connecting the supplied power adapter to the DC 5V port and plugging it into a power outlet.
3. On your TV or audio output device, enable the ARC/eARC function if necessary. Refer to the operating instructions of your device for guidance on how to do this.
4. Locate the ARC/eARC button on the audio extractor's rear panel.
5. Press the ARC/eARC button to switch between the input devices. Each press of the button will toggle between the connected devices, allowing you to select the desired input source.
The audio extractor features automatic EDID management, which ensures that the best compatible signal is sent to the TV and audio equipment. This means that the audio extractor will automatically detect and optimize the audio and video signals from the selected input device.
Please note that high-speed HDMI cables that support 4K video quality at 60Hz should be used for optimal performance. Additionally, ARC/eARC rated HDMI cables are recommended for ARC/eARC support.
