To install the Volant 19135 Closed Box Air Intake, please follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable to allow the vehicle to cool.
2. Remove the factory air duct and lid assembly by loosening the clamps on the intake tubes and unclipping the air box lid.
3. Remove the factory air box by removing the bolt holding it to the vehicle and the plastic wire retention clips.
4. Remove the factory air scoop and air temperature sensor from the factory duct.
5. Install the wiring harness bracket to the Volant air box using the provided bolts, washers, lock washers, and nuts.
6. Insert the factory grommet and metal bushing into the Volant air box.
7. Install the factory scoop to the Volant air box using the provided bolt, washers, spacer, and nut.
8. Insert the stems on the bottom of the Volant air box into the factory grommets and attach the air box to the fender with the bolt.
9. Reinstall the factory scoop and attach it with the clips.
10. Place the filter clamp on the filter and insert the filter adapter into the air box.
11. Insert the filter into the air box with the adapter side down and rotate it into place.
12. Attach the filter adapter to the air box using the provided bolts, washers, and lock washers.
13. Install the air temperature sensor into the Volant air duct.
14. Install the hump hose onto the Volant air duct with clamps.
15. Install the straight sleeve onto the lower factory inlet with a clamp.
16. Insert the reducer onto the Volant air duct with a clamp.
17. Install the Volant air duct into the vehicle by connecting the hump hose to the filter adapter and the reducer to the upper stock inlet.
18. Adjust the air duct as necessary and tighten all clamps.
19. Clip the wiring harness on the air temperature sensor.
20. Install the lid using the provided screws.
