Here is a step-by-step guide to installing the Dynojet Power Commander 6 on your Honda CBF1000F:
1. Start by removing the seats and propping up the fuel tank.
2. Lay the Power Commander 6 (PC6) in the tail section of the bike and route the PC6 harness towards the front of the bike.
3. Route the PC6 harness from the right-hand side of the bike to the left-hand side, going over the frame. Make sure to route the harness in a way that it won't be damaged by the fuel tank.
4. Unplug the stock wiring harness at injectors #1 and #2.
5. Plug the PC6 wiring harness in-line with the stock harness and injectors. The orange wire corresponds to the #1 cylinder, and the yellow wire corresponds to the #2 cylinder.
6. To access the #3 and #4 injectors, remove the bolts holding the thermostat to the frame and move the thermostat out of the way temporarily.
7. Unplug the stock wiring harness at injectors #3 and #4.
8. Plug the PC6 wiring harness in-line with the stock harness and injectors. The green wire corresponds to the #3 cylinder, and the blue wire corresponds to the #4 cylinder.
9. Locate the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the left-hand side of the throttle bodies.
10. Unplug the stock connector from the TPS.
11. Plug the PC6 harness in-line with the stock wiring harness and TPS.
12. Use the supplied Velcro strips to secure the PC6 to the tail section. Clean both surfaces with the alcohol swab before mounting.
13. Reinstall the fuel tank and seat.
14. Finally, download the latest map files from the Dynojet website at dynojet.com/tunes.
