To calibrate the Brecknell EPB 3000 Electronic Pocket Balance, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have the necessary test weights for calibration. The required test weights for the EPB 3000 are 200g and 500g for the 500g capacity model, and 1kg and 3kg for the 3kg capacity model.
2. Turn on the scale by pressing the power button.
3. Press and hold the "M" key until "CAL" is displayed on the screen. The display will briefly show "CAL" and then flash a weight (smaller test weight) that needs to be placed on the scale.
4. Add the requested weight (smaller test weight) to the scale. The display will then show a second weight equal to the capacity of the scale.
5. Remove the first weight and place the larger test weight (equal to the capacity of the scale) on the scale all at once. The display will show "PASS" and then the total weight.
6. Remove the test weights from the scale.
7. Press the power button to turn off the scale. The calibration process is now complete.
Note: It is important to use the correct test weights specified for your EPB 3000 model during calibration. Following the calibration process outlined in the user manual ensures accurate measurements.
