To clean the Clatronic WK 3445 water kettle, follow these steps:
1. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning. Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
2. Do not immerse the appliance or the base in water or other liquids as it could cause an electric shock or fire.
3. Clean the water reservoir by rinsing it with clean water. Dry it with a cloth.
4. Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth after use.
5. To clean the filter, pull it out with the lid open. Rinse it under running water. You can use a nylon brush to help.
6. Replace the filter, paying attention to the guide inside the water kettle.
Note: It is important not to use a wire brush or other abrasive objects, as well as sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
For descaling, use a commercially available descaling agent based on citric acid according to the instructions. After descaling, boil fresh water several times to remove any residues. Do not use this water for consumption.
