Calibrating the Brecknell HS-300 Mild Steel Physician Scale is an important step to ensure accurate weight measurements. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to calibrate the scale:
1. Make sure the scale is placed on a flat and stable surface.
2. Ensure that the scale is not in use and there is no weight on the platform.
3. Press and hold the "Zero" or "Tare" button until the display shows "CAL" or "0.0".
4. The scale will enter the calibration mode. You may see a calibration weight value displayed on the screen.
5. Place the calibration weight on the platform. The weight should be equal to the calibration weight value shown on the screen.
6. Wait for the scale to stabilize and display a stable weight measurement.
7. Press the "Enter" or "Calibrate" button to confirm the calibration. The scale will store the calibration value and exit the calibration mode.
8. Remove the calibration weight from the platform.
9. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.
