To properly set up the KRINNER 94125 Comfort M Christmas Tree Stand, please follow these steps:
1. Choose a solid, level, and even surface to place the tree stand. Avoid using a thick carpet as it may not provide a secure base.
2. Before putting up your Christmas tree, ensure that the tree stand has a secure base.
3. Make sure the water tank of the tree stand is free from cracks and holes. Check it yearly before setting up the tree to prevent floor damage due to possible leakage.
4. Prepare your Christmas tree by making a fresh, clean, straight, and even cut at the bottom of the trunk. This will help the tree absorb water effectively. Do not drill the trunk in the middle, and ensure the bark is intact as the tree absorbs water between the stem and the bark.
5. Place the Christmas tree into the tree stand, ensuring it is securely fastened, well balanced, and positioned in the middle of the stand.
6. While pushing down the foot lever with your foot, ensure that no hands or other body parts are between the clamps and the trunk to prevent injuries.
7. Once the tree is securely in place, you can start decorating and lighting it.
