1. Disconnect power at the main fuse box before installation.
2. Carefully pull the house wires out of the junction box so they are easily accessible during installation.
3. Position the mounting bracket (A) so that the threaded ends of the attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards the floor.
4. Pull the house wires through the hole in the center of the mounting bracket (A).
5. Align the holes in the mounting bracket (A) with the holes in the junction box.
6. Thread each junction box xxxx (B) into the holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into the hole in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Make sure the house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket and avoid pinching the wires between the bracket and ceiling.
7. Rotate the arms until they are evenly spaced apart.
8. Push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the center tube (P) and xxxx the bottom of the center tube (M) onto the threaded pipe on top of the fixture body (O).
9. Push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the top trim (R) and thread the top trim (R) onto the top of the center tube (P).
10. Push the fixture wires through one 12-inch stem (M) and xxxx the bottom of the stem (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
11. Push the fixture wires through the remaining stems (M) and xxxx the stems (M) together, keeping the fixture wires taut. Avoid pinching the fixture wires between the stems.
12. Push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N) and pull them out of the top of the 6-inch stem (N). xxxx the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N) onto the top of the stem (M).
13. Push the fixture wires up through the end of the swivel (S) on the canopy (D) and xxxx the top of the stem (N) onto the end of the swivel (S) on the canopy (D).
14. Strip 3/4" of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
15. Slightly loosen the ground xxxx on the mounting bracket (A), wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground xxxx , leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the ends of the fixture ground wire and house ground wire together, and then twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C).
16. Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together, and then twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C).
17. Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together, and then twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C).
18. Wrap electrical tape around the wire nuts (C) and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.
19. Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
20. Carefully raise the fixture up to the ceiling and place the canopy (D) over the mounting bracket (A). Pass the holes in the canopy (D) over the ends of the fixture mounting screws (E).
21. xxxx one threaded cap (F) onto the end of each fixture mounting xxxx (E) and tighten them to secure the fixture to the ceiling. Do not over tighten.
22. Finally, xxxx the finial (L) onto the threaded pipe on the bottom of the fixture body (O).
23. Install the recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into the sockets. Make sure to verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture and do not exceed the maximum bulb wattage.
Please note that if you are not familiar with code requirements, it is recommended to have the installation done by a certified electrician.
