To install the Arkscan AS203 Micro USB Barcode Scanner, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Micro USB Barcode Scanner of firmware version HM3-c-#.## to work with. The firmware version is usually printed on the box label.
2. Ensure that you have an Android device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) with an operating system of Android 4.1.1 or later version.
3. Check if your Android device supports USB OTG (On-The-Go) functionality.
4. Set up security settings on your Android device by going to Settings, then Security, and ticking the checkbox for Unknown sources.
5. Download the ScanKey® apk (ScanKey_v#.##_yymmdd.apk) to your Android device.
6. Execute the downloaded apk file by tapping on the icon and tap "Install" in the dialog that appears.
7. After installation, tap "Done" to exit the installation dialog.
Once the installation is complete, you can proceed with the operation of the barcode scanner. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to use the ScanKey® app and perform scanning operations.
Note: It is important to ensure that your Android device supports USB OTG and that you have the necessary firmware version for the barcode scanner to work properly.
