To install the Hunter Freeze clik Wireless Sprinkler Rain/Freeze Sensor, please follow the steps below:
1. Choose a suitable location: Select a location where the sensor can easily detect rain or freezing conditions. It should be placed in an open area, away from obstructions such as trees or buildings that may interfere with its operation.
2. Mount the sensor: Use the provided screws or adhesive tape to mount the sensor on a wall or post. Ensure that it is securely attached and positioned at a height of approximately 6 feet above the ground.
3. Connect the sensor to the irrigation controller: Locate the sensor terminals on your irrigation controller. Connect the two sensor wires to the appropriate terminals. The wires are color-coded, with one wire typically being white and the other being black.
4. Adjust the rain and freeze settings: Depending on your specific model, you may need to adjust the rain and freeze settings on your irrigation controller.
