1. Installation:
- Start by turning off the water supply to the irrigation system.
- Unscrew the existing nozzle from the rotor using a nozzle removal tool or a pair of pliers.
- Take one of the new Hunter I-35 Sierra Rotor Nozzles and xxxx it onto the rotor in a clockwise direction. Make sure it is securely tightened, but avoid over-tightening.
- Repeat this process for each rotor that requires a replacement nozzle.
2. Adjustment:
- To adjust the arc of the rotor, locate the arc adjustment xxxx on top of the rotor. This xxxx is typically labeled with an arrow or an "A" symbol.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the arc adjustment xxxx counterclockwise to increase the arc or clockwise to decrease it. Each full turn of the xxxx typically adjusts the arc by 90 degrees.
- Set the desired arc by aligning the fixed left edge of the nozzle with the desired starting point of the watering pattern.
- To adjust the radius of the rotor, locate the radius adjustment xxxx on top of the rotor. This xxxx is typically labeled with an "R" symbol.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the radius adjustment xxxx counterclockwise to increase the radius or clockwise to decrease it. Each full turn of the xxxx typically adjusts the radius by 25%.
- Set the desired radius by aligning the right edge of the nozzle with the desired endpoint of the watering pattern.
