Installation of the Hunter WINDCLIK Wind-Clik Sprinkler Sensor System involves the following steps:
1. Determine the ideal location: Choose a location that is exposed to the wind and away from any obstructions that may block the wind flow. It should also be within range of the sprinkler controller.
2. Mount the sensor: Use the provided mounting bracket to attach the sensor to a sturdy surface, such as a post or wall. Ensure that the sensor is level and facing the direction of prevailing winds.
3. Connect the sensor to the sprinkler controller: Run the sensor wire from the sensor to the sprinkler controller. Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the controller, following the wiring diagram provided in the manual.
4. Adjust the sensitivity: Use the sensitivity adjustment xxxx on the sensor to set the desired wind speed at which the system will activate. Turning the xxxx clockwise increases the sensitivity, while turning it counterclockwise decreases it.
5. Test the system: Once the installation is complete, test the system by manually activating the sprinklers and observing the sensor's response to wind. Adjust the sensitivity if necessary.
