To connect the Okidata MICROLINE 320 Dot Matrix Printer to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and running the Windows operating system, as the MICROLINE 320 is compatible with Windows.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the printer. This cable is used to establish a connection between the printer and your computer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the printer. The USB port is typically labeled.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. Make sure to insert it securely.
5. Once the USB cable is connected, power on the printer by pressing the power button, usually located on the front or side of the printer.
6. Your computer should automatically detect the printer and install the necessary drivers. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation process.
