To connect the Okidata MICROLINE 420 Dot Matrix Printer to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and running the Windows operating system, as the MICROLINE 420 is designed to integrate effortlessly with Windows.
2. Locate the USB cable included in the box. This cable will be used to establish the connection between the printer and your computer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the MICROLINE 420 printer.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Once the USB cable is securely connected, power on the MICROLINE 420 printer by pressing the power button.
6. Your computer should automatically detect the printer and install the necessary drivers. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation process.
7. Once the driver installation is complete, you should be able to print from your computer to the Okidata MICROLINE 420 Dot Matrix Printer.
