To mount the Altronix TROVE DMP 734/734N Wiegand Kits, follow these steps:
1. Remove the backplane from the enclosure, but do not discard the hardware.
2. Mark and predrill holes in the wall to line up with the top two or three keyholes in the enclosure.
3. Install two or three upper fasteners and screws in the wall with the xxxx heads protruding.
4. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the upper screws, ensuring it is level, and secure it.
5. Mark the position of the lower three holes, remove the enclosure, and drill the lower holes.
6. Install the three lower fasteners.
7. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the upper screws again and install the three lower screws. Make sure to tighten all screws securely.
8. Mount the included UL Listed tamper switch (Altronix Model TS112 or equivalent) in the desired location opposite the hinge. Slide the tamper switch bracket onto the edge of the enclosure from the right side. Connect the tamper switch wiring to the Enclosure Access Control Panel input or the appropriate UL Listed reporting device.
9. Mount the DMP 734/734N Wiegand modules to the backplane according to the instructions provided on pages 3 and 4 of the manual.
10. Refer to the ULXB Power Supply/Charger Installation Guide for AL600ULXB, AL1024ULXB2, and the corresponding Sub-Assembly Installation Guides for ACM8(CB), PDS8(CB), and VR6 for further installation instructions.
Please note that wiring methods should comply with the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70/ANSI and local codes and authorities having jurisdiction. The product is intended for indoor use only.
For specific dimensions of the enclosures, the T1DMK34 measures approximately 18" x 14.5" x 4.625" (457mm x 368mm x 118mm), and the T2DMK78 measures approximately 27.25" x 21.75" x 6.5" (692.2mm x 552.5mm x 165.1mm).
