To install the PQL LED Snap and Go Kit Magnetic Modules, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the appropriate fuse at the fuse box. Simply turning off the light switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock.
2. Remove the lens or louver from the existing fixture, if required.
3. Disconnect the wires and remove the original fluorescent tube(s) and ballast from the fixture. Make sure to recycle the tubes according to state-specific recycling guidelines.
4. Install the Snap & Go Magnetic Modules. If necessary, use optional mounting clips (#93748), which are sold separately.
5. Install the Snap & Go driver.
6. Connect the driver's input line, which includes Dim +, Dim -, and module lines.
7. If needed, replace the lens or louver that was removed in step 2.
It is important to note that these instructions are a general guide, and it is recommended to consult a qualified electrician for installation to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code or your local electrical code. Additionally, always check the existing wiring and components for any damage before installing the upgrade kit.
