To connect the Miele PDR 928 Gas Heated Commercial Dryer to the electrical supply, it is recommended to have a qualified electrician establish the electrical connection. The electrical connection should be made to an electrical system that complies with local and national regulations, guidelines, and standards. The required supply voltage, power rating, and fuse rating can be found on the data plate of the dryer. Ensure that the supply voltage matches the voltage quoted on the data plate before establishing the electrical connection. If the voltage is different, it can damage the dryer. If more than one voltage is specified on the data plate, the dryer can be converted for connection to the relevant input voltage by the Miele Customer Service Department or an authorized dealer. It is recommended to connect the dryer to the power supply via a plug and socket for easier electrical safety checks during maintenance or repair work. The dryer should not be connected to devices such as timers that would switch it off automatically. If required by local regulations, a residual current device (RCD) should be installed, using a type B RCD sensitive to universal current.
