To attach the circular-cutting and parallel guide to the jigsaw, follow these steps:
1. Place the clamping elements (a) on the footplate (5) with the opening facing forwards and the threaded hole facing up. Insert the screws (b) from underneath.
2. Slide the rod on the circular-cutting and parallel guide sideways into the clamping elements (a) with the center point (c) facing downwards.
3. Set the desired radius (d) for circular cuts or the desired dimension (e) for parallel cuts.
4. Tighten the screws (b) to secure the guide in place.
Please refer to Figure II in the manual for a visual representation of the attachment process.
Note: Remember to remove the clamping elements after use to avoid damaging the saw blade clamping fixture when making diagonal cuts. Also, be cautious when tilting the jigsaw to the right at a 45° diagonal cut angle, as it may damage the saw blade clamping fixture.
