To fit the sanding arms on the BLACK+DECKER KA902E Powerfile Sander, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the tool is switched off and unplugged.
2. Loosen and remove the belt tracking xxxx .
3. Remove any tape retaining the spring (if present) and check that the spring is located in its mounting hole.
4. Position the desired sanding arm (straight, narrow, or cranked) onto the tool, aligning it with the tool.
5. Fit and tighten the belt tracking xxxx until the arm is aligned with the tool.
To remove the sanding arms:
1. Make sure the tool is switched off and unplugged.
2. Loosen and remove the belt tracking xxxx .
3. Remove the sanding belt (if present).
4. Remove the arm from the tool.
Note: Be careful not to lose the spring during the removal process.
