To clean the DOMO DO476K Filter Coffee Machine, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
2. Clean the carafe, lid of the carafe, filter holder, and permanent filter after each use in warm, soapy water.
3. Wipe the exterior body of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
4. Wipe off any water droplets after using the appliance.
5. Use a damp cloth to clean the keep-warm plate. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
6. Regularly decalcify the coffee maker to maintain coffee quality and prolong its durability. We recommend decalcifying every 3 to 4 weeks.
- Fill the carafe with 1/4 vinegar and 3/4 cold water.
- Pour the mixture into the water tank and turn on the coffee maker. Let the mixture run through without adding coffee.
- Repeat the process until the liquid dripping out has lost its yellow color.
- Pour out the mixture.
- Run the coffee maker at least twice with only water until the vinegar smell has disappeared.
Remember to always unplug the appliance and remove the plug from the outlet before cleaning. Refer to the instruction manual for more detailed information on cleaning and maintenance.
