To install the QUOIZEL ADL1716MBK Black Semi-Flush Mount Ceiling Light, please follow the steps outlined in the provided installation guide:
1. Safety: Before starting the installation, ensure that the electricity is turned off at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Mounting Hardware: Ensure that you have all the necessary mounting hardware included in the package.
3. Installation Steps: Follow these steps in order:
a. Install Center Rod and Socket Assembly: Attach the center rod and socket assembly to the fixture according to the instructions provided.
b. Install Bottom Cage to Top Cage: Connect the bottom cage to the top cage of the fixture securely.
c. Install Crossbar: Attach the crossbar to the electrical box on the ceiling using the provided screws.
d. Wiring: Connect the wiring from the electrical box to the fixture following the wiring instructions in the manual. If you are unsure about electrical installation, it is recommended to consult a licensed electrician.
e. Install Fixture to Crossbar: Securely attach the fixture to the crossbar using the provided screws.
f. Install Bead String C: Attach bead string C to the fixture as instructed.
g. Install Bead String D: Attach bead string D to the fixture as instructed.
h. Install Bead String A and B: Attach bead strings A and B to the fixture as instructed.
i. Install Bulbs: Install three correct bulbs, referring to the fixture markings and/or labels for the maximum wattage. The recommended bulb type is not included, so make sure to purchase the appropriate bulbs separately.
4. Care and Maintenance: To clean the fixture, wipe it clean using a soft, dry cloth or a static duster. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives as they may damage the finish.
