To test the safety interlock system on the RYOBI RYRM8001 mower, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the parking brake is engaged and the joystick is in the locked, neutral position.
2. Insert the start key and turn it to the ON position.
3. Press and hold the blade engage xxxx down.
4. Attempt to start the mower by turning the start key to the START position.
5. If the safety interlock system is functioning properly, the mower should not start.
6. Release the blade engage xxxx and turn the start key to the OFF position.
