To calibrate the VOLTCRAFT DS-50S Tabletop Scale, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a standard test weight of either 5000 g or 10000 g.
2. Ensure that the weighing platform is empty.
3. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the power on.
4. Press and hold the MODE button until the display shows the capacity as "50000 g", then press MODE again. The display will show "5000 g".
5. Press the TARE button to select the test weight of either 5000 g or 10000 g.
6. Press the MODE button to select the weight. The display will alternate between "CAL" and the selected weight.
7. Place the selected test weight on the weighing platform.
8. Calibration is completed when "PASS" appears on the display. This may take a few moments.
9. If a calibration error occurs and "Err" is displayed, switch the power ON/OFF and repeat the process.
10. Remove the weight from the weighing platform.
11. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the power off.
Please note that the scale was calibrated at the factory, and if accuracy fails, it is recommended to try replacing the batteries before calibrating.
